MoFPI invites proposals for establishing NABL-Accredited food testing laboratories under PMKSY

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, has announced the invitation of proposals from eligible entrepreneurs for setting up NABL-accredited food testing laboratories. The initiative falls under the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Infrastructure component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY).

As per the latest scheme guidelines issued on 12 November 2025, interested applicants can access detailed instructions and eligibility criteria on the Ministry’s official website.

Online Submission Only
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the PMKSY online portal at https://www.sampada-mofpi.gov.in/ under the relevant category of “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana.”
Offline submissions will not be accepted.

Last Date for Application
The deadline for submitting proposals is 20 January 2026, 17:00 hrs.

Application Fee
Applicants are required to submit a non-refundable demand draft as stipulated in the scheme guidelines. The draft should be drawn in favour of:
“Pay & Accounts Officer, Food Processing Industry”, payable at the address of Mantralaya, New Delhi.
A scanned copy of the demand draft must be uploaded with the online application, while the original must reach the Ministry within one week from the last date of submission.

Pre-Bid Meeting
A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on 02 December 2025 at 2:30 PM at Room No. 120, Panchsheel Bhawan, August Kranti Marg, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend for clarifications and guidance.
