iD Fresh Food, India’s most loved fresh food brand, has announced its entry into the organic segment with the launch of iD Organic Batter. This launch marks another milestone in iD’s journey of building clean-label, fresh, and trustworthy everyday foods without compromising on taste, authenticity, or transparency.
For its Organic Batter range, the company is sourcing grains through an established organic sourcing model that works with over 2,500 farmers across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, with NGOs actively involved in farmer engagement and on-ground support. This sourcing approach reflects iD’s long-standing focus on responsible farmer partnerships and sustainable agricultural practices.
Commenting on the launch, Rajat Diwaker, CEO – India, iD Fresh Food, said, “As we launch the next phase of iD Organic, we have reimagined the offering by applying market insights and placing a sharper focus on the product. At iD, everyday food has always been built on trust and transparency, and entering the organic space is a natural extension of that belief. With iD Organic Batter, we are offering consumers the assurance of certified organic sourcing while staying true to the taste, freshness, and consistency they expect from us and making the product more refined, robust, and aligned with what today's consumers are looking for.”
Enakshi Dasgupta, Head of New Product Development, iD Fresh, said, “This is a long-term, considered step for the brand. Batter is a staple across Indian households, cutting across age groups and regions. By offering an organic variant, we aim to provide consumers greater peace of mind without requiring any change in their everyday eating habits. This move aligns strongly with iD’s philosophy of fresh, hygienic and transparent food. iD Organic Batter allows us to respond to growing consumer awareness while continuing to deliver the taste, consistency and convenience that the brand is known for.”
The product will be introduced in Phase 1 across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai, and will be available through online platforms and select standalone modern trade outlets. In Phase 2, the range will be gradually expanded to additional cities and channels.
