Nestlé introduces KitKat Matcha ice cream in Asia, Marking 90 years of KitKat innovation

FoodTechBiz Desk

Nestlé has unveiled an exciting new addition to its iconic KitKat brand with the launch of KitKat Matcha Ice Cream, crafted by experts at the company’s R&D center in Singapore.

The new ice cream combines Nestlé’s signature creamy wafer ice cream with a bold matcha coating made from authentic matcha powder sourced from Shizuoka, Japan. Crispy KitKat wafer pieces in the coating ensure consumers enjoy the brand’s signature “Have a Break, Have a KitKat” experience in every bite.

According to Nestlé, KitKat Matcha Ice Cream will debut this month in Thailand, addressing the growing popularity of matcha across Asia, where consumers are increasingly drawn to its distinctive flavor and wellness appeal.

The launch coincides with KitKat’s 90th anniversary, highlighting Nestlé’s commitment to continuous innovation for one of the world’s most beloved confectionery brands.
