The session objective of the event was to understand the industry challenges with respect to the adoption of new technologies and innovations in the processed food industry, enabling a platform for open dialogue and knowledge exchange.
The session highlighted the strong annual growth trajectory of the confectionery market in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in India, where consumer preferences are increasingly shifting toward premiumized products, interactive and customized formats, healthcare and nutraceutical gummy products.
Coperion shared its comprehensive capabilities, ranging from upstream sugar processing systems to advanced solutions for process flexibility, automation, and operational efficiency in the production of gummies, hard candies, caramels, and fondants.
